Once the high-tech industry technology enter into the market departure period,the patent war

also followed,recently smart phones, tablet computers paten battle between the firms is causing

concern, in fact, the market of LED lighting is rapidlgrowing , Insiders will notice billion light with the

Japanese factory Nichia fighting just th opening ceremony, the ability to challenge the patent war

has become the high Thresholds to entry into LED lighting industry.

       For Patent term, Europe, America, Japan and other international companies have LED construct

a global patent network, interact with each other is taken in the manner authorized to reach interfering

understanding. Taiwanese chip makers is in a relatively unfavorable position but because of having no market

Bargaining chip.

       Led Lighting is with Environmental protection and energy saving , including the semiconductor and larger

maker TSMC, Samsung, AUO, are also launched LED lighting layout; traditional lighting plant, including Philips,

Osram, GE's LED technology; and latecomers in China, new players in India , mostly state backed enterprises

have rapidly move close to LED lighting. Because competitors are world-class companies, their ambition is also

very strong,according to the lighting layout, Philips plans to the proportion reached 50% in LED lighting, ; Osram

focus on office,commercial lighting; Cree also extended to outdoor lighting and expected to reach 70% in 2011.

       TSMC's LED semiconductor solid-state lighting company has also established, emphasizing its advanced process

will help cost-competitive LED lighting; Samsung is an attempt to win the world's top three LED lighting, the

LED lighting market due to international companies from different fields join, all funds, resources abundant, so

not only competing more complex situation, the lack of system resources also increase Taiwan LED makers invisible

pressure.

       According to Industry observation, Taiwan's LED industry playoffs will quickly shuffle due to lighting period follow ,

the traditional view of LED manufacturers, Epistar, Everlight LED patents in cumulative energy is large, so the patent

hold is the best Bargaining chip to enter international market, the other small and medium enterprises have to rely on

strategic cooperation between the industry, to increase the umbrella.
